Thousands of students face financial insecurity. Skyrocketing tuition costs, high youth unemployment rates, and a rising cost of living have made post-secondary education completely unaffordable for the average student. While funding opportunities are available, the process of finding them is complicated. As a result, millions of dollars in scholarships and bursaries go unclaimed every year.
It’s time to bridge the gap between the resources that students need and the resources that are available. Right to Education is a movement that’s sole mission is to make education more accessible to students. As a movement created for students, by students, we believe that everyone deserves a chance to receive a post-secondary education.
No-one should ever have to choose between buying a textbook and buying their next meal. Unfortunately for students from low-income families, including radicalized, Black, Indigenous, LGBTQ+, and students with disabilities, these kinds of choices are all too common. Through StudentSupport, Right to Education gives disenfranchised students access to opportunities that could change their lives.
